CARLA H. BERMAN

(American born-1953-)

Carla received her B.F.A. degree from Tyler School of Fine Art in 1974. She attended classes at Temple Hospital in Art Therapy and received her Masters of Education degree from Tyler in 1977. 

Carla returned to study at the Pennsylvania Academy in the 1990’s. In addition to her own work, she currently works as a copyist at the PAFA museum and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Carla is an active member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club.

Carla has continued her education with Masters classes at PAFA with Bo Bartlett’04, Sidney Goodman’05 and Odd Nerdrum’05. In the winter of 2009 she took a workshop at Nelson Shanks Studio Incamminati.
